Some hail varsity guy tweeted that his "source close to the team" told him that Kevin Williams has torn his ACL

He is the only one saying it right now so I'm not sold on its authenticity, but I will update if I read anything more

We really couldn't afford this. I can't stress that enough. He was likely going to be the starter next to Thad on day 1. Why the FUCK do we always have serious injuries at the thinnest positions?

We better pray Thad stays healthy, which he has yet to do here coming into his Senior season. One more serious injury on the interior and we could be looking forward to a looooooong season fellas. This is what happens when you fail to land a JUCO DT in consecutive years.

Probably, but it's not like you can hide that......one of the things I don't understand about Bo getting pissed about these things.......maybe during the season, you hide an injury so the other team doesn't know it, but this shit before the season starts?

Part of it is because sometimes the parents of the kid have to find out from a media outlet that their child is hurt. At least that's what he's said in the past.

Why they wouldn't call the parents right away to let them know is beyond me.

Yeah who was it a couple of years ago. The press released it before the parents knew and Bo banned them from practices for a while.

I imagine it takes a little while to get a hold of the parents. It's not like you got their number down on the practice field. Plus you want to have slid info first. Not a well he could of torn an acl or it might jut be a pulled muscle. Will let you know.

Tentative prediction which seems to be somewhat of a consensus among the pundits: 1. Nickens 2. Curry 3. Collins.

Williams by no means had a spot locked down.

Pelini didn't sound concerned at all citing "good depth", but you never really know.

My initial reaction was that the sky is falling. I can't tell if I'm in the denial or acceptance phase of grieving right now.
