BOTSLAYER
You can be anything
His FG% is down across the board despite getting to the FT line 3.2 more times per game this year. His minutes are up 1 minute per game. He is taking .5 more shots per game.
FG%: .460
3p%: .362
FT%: .869
All of those numbers are less despite being great numbers.
He is averaging almost 1 assist more per game (5.5) but he is getting 1 less rebound per game (6.9).
The way his numbers have shifted it makes me think he should have increased all of his FG%s, with an increase in FTAs he should be driving the lane more (also higher percentage shots) and with his assists up that would make me think he is taking more quality shots. But his numbers are down?
I do not think he is a candidate for winning the MVP, no way his numbers can drop and win the MVP.
He is a great player and maybe this is just a slump or maybe it shows how hard it is to be consistent in the NBA.
