A lot of the smaller teams don't have the $ or equipment to keep up. The economy is tight, even in NASCAR.

They should be ecstatic with that NW number. Their purse doesn't pay shit, its harder to get sponsors being the 2nd tier series, and yet it costs almost as much to field a NW car as it does a Cup car. I'm actually surprised they fill the field each week as is
