Makes me wonder about some of the rankings. N. Ill. only lost to Iowa by 1 point while Kent St. lost to UK 47-14 (sorry for the correction rmillia) and yet N. Ill. is ranked behind Kent St...and looking at the stats N. Ill. is much better in scoring offense and defense.

I agree, but ranked #15 at the time. Not saying it is right, just that they have a win over a ranked opponent. This last game will settle it though, the way it should work.

Yeah it would be funny, the "Boise St." rule and a MAC teams ends up being the first team to take advantage of it while Boise St. settles for a lesser bowl.

N. Illinois is a 5 pt favorite last I looked. If Kent St wins there are at least 4 scenarios for them to get in.

OU, NU, FSU, or UCLA losing will do it. Texas would have to beat Kansas State and hope to jump Kent St in the BCS.

There is virtually zero chance they beat NIU, but if they do, they could always play the Big East champ. How great would a Rutgers-Kent State rematch for a BCS bowl be?
