However I live in the Denver area so imagine my excitement when I saw the Rockies picked him up so I'm still stuck watching that piece of trash every so often

This is true, although the way it looks now, if the Phillies were to trade Cole Hamels, their opening day starter will probably be even scarier. I'm assuming it will be settled by a round-robin beer pong tournament between Kevin Slowey, David Buchanan, Miguel Gonzalez, and possibly Jerome Williams.
