Wasn't Wander on the Orioles? Or am I thinking of someone with a similiar name
I think its a similar name Wander Franco is a short stop that is ranked #1 overall in the top 100 list for the Rays. He is killing it in AAA The red sox will be dealing with him lol

So I read that they purposely held back Kelenic from making the leap to the majors.... this is when Mathers was still around.

Very M’s-like decisions.

This isn’t a Mariners exclusive thing, everyone in baseball does it to get an extra year out of a player. It would be a M’s like decision to not have done it

Yeah, the dumb part was saying it out loud. Who wouldn't trade a month of April baseball in a building season for an extra year of control?

Wasn’t the whole service time unintentionally started by the M’s with ARod though?

I don’t know. All I’m saying is the Mariners aren’t the only ones doing it. They are however the first ones to say it publicly, and if I ever have the misfortune of meeting Mathers then I’ll hawk a good loogie.

Do you really think that Kelenic and Gilbert will be enough of a one-two punch when the rest of the team is pretty much dead?

Imagine them having to carry the whole show for a roster that doesn't know consistency, except for being consistently bad.

They'll be a breath of fresh air, perhaps, but there's still a foul wind that Servais has created, and you can't get that stink out with a quick fix.

We just called up Logan Gilbert our 1st round pick in 2018 I just picked him up in my league, could be an option for you if you are looking for a pitcher.

I just saw this late last night. Went to bed.. I'll have to check to see if he is available.

What happened, they didn't play Kelenic last night?

Without question Mather was a moron and it was something that happens. I just thought I remember hearing something baseball was kind of put on notice because the Mariners lost an entire year of control with ARod.

I dont think its gonna help this team push for a playoff spot or anything. The rest of the roster is too weak. Hopefully they both show well and can help lead the team going forward
