Watching him talk to Terrell Davis he looks alittle bigger this guy is going to be a hell of a change of pace back with Matt Jones

I want to temper my agreement with this caveat, There are still questions about his health.
I would rather question his health than his ability in the seventh.
.......about his ability, while he is a high impact tackler against the run, he self admits that he needs lots of work against the pass.

Sorry guys, I was talking to someone else about our inside LB pick when I typed this. It is his health that is at question. Said so in my initial response.
"Placing B&G Shades on"
The beauty of this draft is, we are not actually counting on ANY of these guys as starters. So even the health issues picks should get time to heal and are not considered critical to the team this coming season.
"Taking the Shades off"
But we are still mini me short as far as the D-line is concerned.![]()
No doubt getting that 122 yards per game against down will be a huge issue this year, unless there are pending moves yet to be considered. I still think that it is shortsighted to not consider getting some value this season for one of the current wideouts that won't be here next year. Clears cap money too!! SM seems to like later draft picks maybe a player for a player could be in the works too. Yes salary is an obstacle, but next year we get nada for a guy that everyone knows won't be back.
I know you would love to deal Garcon. BUt as you said, salary would be an issue. And I really dont see a good reason to force Doctson into a starting role to save the cap space since Garcon costs us nothing next year if we let him walk as a FA. And why take away one of the guys who will likely help Kirk live up to expectations... unless of course we want him to fail to prove we made a mistake??
