He is not going to get a fair shot here. Even if he beats out RG3 in pre season again they are going to start RG3. Rg3 is the better athlete but KC is the better QB.

Politics plays more of a role here than wanting to win. It won't surprise me if KC looks like the best option to start, but it will be RG3. They are giving him every chance to lead this team. By naming him the starter and drafting beef up front. Yes, RG3 will start even if he looks worse than Tebow did out there, but I also believe if we go 0 and 2, or 1 and 3 he will be hooked and his time here will be done. They won't over wait to try and salvage a season... not this time.

i wouldnt be so sure about that dean . if he shows he has earned the shot and RG3 is failing then he will get his again

but KC has to show he can snap back from adversity better or else he is doomed as well

Totally agree. RG3 will be given every chance to lead the team at the beginning of the season & I see no problem with that setup. However - if he plays like last season I don't think that the Redskins will hesitate to bench him in midseason. If that occurs - or RG3 gets hurt - Cousins better be ready (saying it & doing it are two different things).

If that occurs & Cousins continues to be a turnover machine and/or fall short in the clutch then he may be risking not only his future w/ the Redskins but also his NFL future. Personally - I will be thrilled if either QB does well next season.

Kirk had two chances to show he should be the starter, coming up short both times. Theres a reason thw gigs still up in the air; neither signal caller has done anything to earn the title as number one quarterback.
