better get it at Charlotte, because Dega is a toss up for anyone to win and then they have to avoid the wrecks. All 3 of them can't win the Charlotte race, so I don't see "meh" in that at all. It might be meh for ONE of them, Jimmy Johnson, but the rest of them face a real risk of being eliminated after this round because of their finish today.

I love how NASCAR is all about rewarding the winners, and there are 2 guys now solidly in the top 8 of the "contenders" round without a win

Matt Kenseth, and Ryan Newman, with Newman 4th in points

would be funny if one of them wins the championship by simply finishing ahead of other 3 by the time Homestead comes around, without ever winning a race

and then the whole system gets changed again



ive said it before, ill say it again, change it back to the way it was pre-2004, and simply just reward winners with more points, no Chase

theres no Chase in Nationwide or Truck Series. Stop trying to manufacture a champion, and simply let the season play itself out

This isn't a stick and ball sports league, rewarding a champion based off this entire season is what separated this sports league from others

If we have a Chase, I liked the old format where if you were in the top 10, you were in. If you were 11 on back, too bad, should have done better and see you next season. Going to a 16 team format to start I haven't liked since it was announced.

Yeah the new format is ridiculous. Win a race and you don't have to worry until the next segment. At least in the previous system you had to run well in damn near all the races. You couldn't take races off
