Wonder how upset TBS would be if it ends up being the Royals and Orioles in the ALCS?

Probably not too much, if at all. Both teams have solid fan bases, and have great histories, and both are nice stories this year.
I think the bigger market teams and exposure they get is overrated. Could be time for a power shift...and way overdue IMHO..

Sure they have good fan bases, so not bad for them. Sure they would want Trout and Miggy.

Although with Royals most likely getting people to hop on board. To a average fan it has a Cinderella feel to it. To me they have been built for low scoring small ball games, so no huge surprise.

still the last 2 games in LA they won with the long ball. and I think off season they'll be looking for muscle

Going to be interesting. With the payroll situation in the bullpen, I wouldn't be shocked if they traded Holland for a big bat to alleviate the bullpen overflow/payroll crunch for Dayton Moore.

Made reference in Central thread that I kept saying they needed a power bat. really liked the Willingham deal. Not huge power, but good pop. Yet the young kids have stepped up in post season so far. Not sure how far this story goes??? Lining up to be a good to great one for sure.

We both know it would never happen...Holland would blow first 5 save attempts in the cursed Detroit bull pen.

Butler was susposed to be da man but he puked out. again. so bad this year Yost had to bench him. I don't know where his contract is but IMO he gotta go. also all the games i watched i never saw Willingham yank one out. they get some long ball power they don't have play this small ball

Yeah, a shame. Not sure what happened to Butler really. 3 million down the tubes buying his option out this offseason unless he takes a big pay cut.

Couldn't possibly be more pleased that the Royals got both games in Anaheim.

Venture your way to central smack talk thread... Not a lot smack talk really. Same mix of guys talk more than just baseball. Very knowledgeable group. Not me, I just learn.

Thanks for serving sir!!
