That's true. The defense and bullpen is very, very stiff though for KC. If Detroit doesn't get the lead by the time the starters are out, it is big trouble for Detroit. Rotation definitely favors Detroit though. Should be a good series either way.

That, in a nutshell, will be the Tigers' season: They will go as far as their starters can take them. Starters will need to pitch pretty deep into games with a questionable middle relief corps behind them.

I think these two teams will battle all year for the AL Crown. Cleveland did not improve, and I think a lot of things broke their way last year. The Royals improvement in 2013 was legit, though.
