Kaepernick in a heartbeat. Manziel might be quick and elusive but I think his style of play means he gets destructed sooner than later. Kaepernick is every bit as good of an athlete if not better and way bigger and stronger.Kaepernick has a stronger arm too. Not even a question. I just think it will be hard for a small guy of Manziels stature to stay healthy with all the scrambling he does being so short and somewhat diminutive. He'll be fun to watch but I doubt he can remain healthy,especially with a mediocre Cleveland team. You have to remember a guy like Russell Wilson had a strong offensive line, a strong running game and a great defense.

Hes gonna start. They sold out every ticket in a preseason game. The NFL Network is physically making all of it's broadcasters talk about Manzel because of the ratings he is bringing in. There is NO WAY the league itself would allow the browns not to start him, lol.

Jersey sales and ratings are one thing, wins are quite another. I still think Hoyer is the superior NFL QB (at least right now), but time will tell.

After the Kaps love-feast over the past couple of yrs I'm surprised at this question. ..... Manziel will be in the same situation as Bortles - tons of individual talent but no receiving core to get excited over (minus Gordon). Kaps on the other hand, has a whole stable of talent.

This year it's not even a question. Over the whole long haul, I would still rather have Kaeps, because:

• demonstrated NFL leadership
• established starter
• most importantly - built to absorb more punishment

(off-the-field issues are probably a wash... but not a great factor for either of them)
