It's really just DC. They can't figure out how to bring the human concept into the movie. Marvel has had it from the start. Comics, cartoons and movies. DC just hasn't figured it out after all of these years.

Well firstly because he has no personality. Secondly, Superman is basically like an annoying kid with too much of an imagination.

Kid A: I'm going to shoot you Superman!
Kid B: You can't because bullets just bounce off of me.
Kid A: Okay, well I'll just lay a trap for you and wait.
Kid B: Let me stop you right there. Superman can see through walls.

I can keep going with his schtick for the rest of his abilities if you want but you probably get the point. Then to top it all off his disguise is wearing glasses. How stupid are the people in Metropolis?

This is part of DC's problem. They aren't real people. Marvel's have real lives out in the open. It makes them more believable.
