The Flyers have re-reacquired Danny Syvret from the Anaheim Ducks, along with center Rob Bordson, for David Laliberte and Pat Maroon.

And so ends the Pat Maroon saga in Glen Falls.

i think this move was meant to get maroon officially off our hands as well as bolstering defensive depth on the phantoms. hes a guy who can help on the powerplay, so in the longrun its a good trade cause it helps the phantoms, and if the phantoms are better then its a better environment for guys like holmstrom, testwuide, bourdon, gustavsson, and company to develop. and should we ever have two or more defensemen injured we have another guy to call up with some nhl experience. subtle trade, but a good one. liked laliberte, but realistically he had no place on the team in the future

i just think its odd that they left for another dman.. we have very little in terms of forward prospects, aside from testwuide and holmstrom, maybe legien.. but i dont think any of them can be a difference maker at the NHL level.. just solid 2 way energy guys

With Syvret back sounds like Walker may be done...saves on the cap so I'm cool with that.

Don't forget about Wellwood he's been solid and looks like a good NHL prospect...very nice speed doesn't hurt either.
