I haven't looked there in months, but decided to check it out because of this thread. Was it always that bad? I think I used to stay in the threads that mostly involved the people here, but Jesus Christ!

The average thread goes something like this:

OP: Stamkos is going to be a superstar!
Reply: The Lightning suck!
Reply: Yawn. Call me when he does something in the playoffs.
Reply: Crosby/Ovechkin is way better.
Reply: Must be easy having Martin St. Louis setting you up all the time.

At this point I wouldn't even know how to contribute to a thread like that. I'm all for trash talking and think we could use a little more of that here (we're a little too polite sometimes), but that shit is laughable. I can't believe I put up with that.

Don't forget "LOL AT HOCKEY IN TAMPA!!!!!"

...and yet all 4 of my posts in that thread that didn't contain one word in any of them (all smiley faces) were deleted and I was given a short suspension.
