I like the Sabres. Second favorite team. I had a Mogilny poster in my room as a kid. I jones on my own team, too. Like, man, my Caps are so bad we barely beat the Sabres in the 1998 conference final.

To be fair, the Sabres were the best team from late February till the end of the season just because of that new owner taking over.

I wouldn't say most people are thinking we are going to win the Cup right now, but the direction we are heading is a cause to be optimistic for sure.

I thought for sure that Fumble would come back to bite him in the ass. Of course I forgot Eli Manning is the Giants QB. His pass to Kerrigan was very Cutleresque. Then again he throws a lot of picks himself. Of course it didn't hurt that the Giants were without Umenyura & a few other defensive players especially in the secondary & D-line.

The Skins got off to a good start. We shall see if they can keep it going.

Yeah, like I said, they're not going to the playoffs or anything. But they are going to be a better team. Their defense was noticeably improved and the Giants weren't missing any starters there. Besides just getting the W, they thoroughly outplayed NY today. Only 3 penalties shows better coaching and better team commitment.

But give Grossman credit, his throws were crisp, he adjusted in the pocket. He won't play every game like that, but he was outstanding today.

He had one of his finest moments. Enjoy it while you can. My mom is a Bears fan. I must admit I had to give her a call to give her a bad time about Rex today. Her response was what I expected. She just pretended like I hadn't mentioned his name & continued talking about what the Bears did to the Falcons.
