Metrics are great sb, you know I follow them. At the end of the day there is always going to be a game or 2 that you need yo score. Always. Every tournament. An efficient 55 isn't good enough
You cannot, nor will you ever be able, to win a title when you can't score the ball. It's not rocket science. 55 ppg vs good teams is never going to get it done.

hate to say it but anderson killed us in the acc tournament which lead to a no.2 seating .i hate to say it come on nc state . the 3 point shot killed us both ways today .You were also fortunate that Anderson never came back fully healthy.
UVA averaged less than 62 ppg this year vs teams in the tourney. That's not ever going to do it. Period. It took 1 strong shooting game by 1 guy to beat them. I'm sorry but that's not surprising. They don't score. When you don't score you can't win a title. You don't have to be great, you just have to be able to overcome deficits vs good teams at some point. They can't. They didnt. Color me unshocked.
You kept talking about how some team was going to hang 75 on UVa and they wouldn't be able to score that much.
they just weren't the same team after Anderson went down.
