Julian Edelman Back On Practice Field

I just watched Channel 5 WCVB Sports. The film was taken today on the Gillette Stadium practice field and Julian Edelman was in helmet and pads goiung through regular practice routines.

In the 20 second clip he was shown running full speed and doing stiff legged skips across the field. He was not at all hobbled or limping.

It was immediately stated that he is ruled out for Sunday night against the Houston Texans.

Also seen running full tilt and cutting was Rob Gronkowski who has been up-graded to questionable.

Thanks as always Ken. Everything I heard he was at practice, stretching...Had not heard he was able to run full speed and stiff legged skips. That is indeed a good sign. Glad he's already a scratch for this week even though they could likely use him.

Great to see Gronk and Edelman back at practice. Hopefully, Gronk will be back for either the Titans or the Jets and Edelman will get in at least one game before the playoffs. Wonder who BB will add to the roster for the Texans game. Heard they had a CFL receiver in for a tryout. Hope they get him under contract. He had a great season in Canada and is big (6-3, 210).

Just heard Gronk may play tonight. Good news, but scary. Hope BB isn't rushing it. The WR from the CFL that had a workout is Eric Rogers. Hope he works out. If BB is looking for a solid WR in the draft, he could do a lot worse than Braxton Miller. He is a big deal out here in NE Ohio. Started as a QB, will try to make the NFL as a WR, and is also a solid runner. He should hopefully still be available in the 3rd round.

I'm hoping they use Gronk primarily as a blocker and decoy? Help possibly keepin TB from getting killed again. Keep Gronk blocking all night unless you need a big play late. Then sneak him out and see if you catch Houston sleeping.
Miller sounds like a BB type. Could be that 3rd QB like Edelman. Can he return kicks or punts? Man I hope BB finds a returner and give guys like JE & DA a break?

That's what I'm expecting too. Don't expect much on offense for Gronk - let him block and get back into the game.
