I expect Gillies & Goddard to fight in the 1st period. After that it's anybody's guess as to what happens.

I realize he can fight, tough guy down in the AHL if i'm not mistaken. But that's my point, he picked his spots with talbot and adams. Drop the gloves with a fighter.

In his 8 career NHL fights the "toughest" guy he has gone with is Carcillo.

Martin should go with Engelland, Godard with Gillies, Haley/Asham.

Engelland has about 4 inches on Martin. Matt would be game though. I'd be surprised if he said no. The Islanders went after Talbot for what they considered a cheapshot on Comeau.

So who fights the league leader in penalty minutes? Konopka is going to want some action. He's not going to sit & watch it all go down & not get involved.

Martin is 6'2. I find it funny that three of the Penguins tough guys are former Islanders. Goddard, Rupp & Asham. LOL!

The Isle are a team I've enjoyed watching this year because I like their young talent. I was even willing to look at the last game as an aberration. Now they're just pissing me off.

What's pathetic about what the Islanders did is Milbury said Robyn Regehr had the best interview of any player he has ever interviewed. Then he goes completely off the board with Rupp who wasn't considered a 1st round pick.

What a shame, Milbury fucked up what was such a good organization for you guys. Future is looking good now though. Isles have some nice young talent, could use a goalie though. Is Poulin considered the future? he looked good in the few games i saw him play.
