The Islanders signed a defenseman who played in Kitchener this season to an ATO tryout for tonights game. They left 2 goons in Bridgeport for this one. However Gillies, Haley & Martin will probably be in the lineup. The league will be watching this game carefully. I don't think it will be as bad as last time, but you never know.

I'm pretty certain we won't see anything quite like the last game.

Godard is in the lineup for one reason... and that is to fight Gillies. He has to be made to answer for his thuggish behavior, and I won't be surprised if that happens in the 1st period.

Other than that, I don't think it's going to be anything out of the ordinary. The Pens can't afford any suspensions or injuries to the regulars.

I think Wishart is out as well. I'm not positive though.

They can't bring up Matt Donovan or Aaron Ness because they're on ATO's in Bridgeport. Their contracts with the Islanders won't begin until next season.

To say their D is beat up is an understatement.

I don't think it will be, either. Pittsburgh cannot afford another player hurt and/or suspended because of fighting. Less than one week away from the tournament, and fighting with a team that has nothing to play for by Sunday.

If there is a fight, it better involve Godard only. His season is over on Sunday, as it is.

Believe it or not Haley can fight. I would think you & all Penguins fans would be more upset with Matt Martin than Haley. If the Pens want to have a blood bath I'm sure the Islanders will oblige. Gillies, Martin, Haley & Konopka are all in the lineup.

I realize he can fight, tough guy down in the AHL if i'm not mistaken. But that's my point, he picked his spots with talbot and adams. Drop the gloves with a fighter.

In his 8 career NHL fights the "toughest" guy he has gone with is Carcillo.

Martin should go with Engelland, Godard with Gillies, Haley/Asham.
