A 6th in 2026? Okay he's made a lot of great plays too and sometime with positions like this it's how the player sets up other players to have success. I just feel a 6th in 2026 is low

What if they just had to get rid of him?
The problem he had was he rushed the QB regardless what the play called for. They could not coach him into doing what they needed from him. Plenty of talent but refused to play the team game. He was one of the players that Godschauk complained about playing selfishly…..

Chiefs won't care. They'll let him play himself into the Pro Bowl. It'll be interesting to see if Jones is willing to redo his contract like Mahomes does every year to resign Uche to a five year $100M deal that he would have never ever even dreamed about in NE....

His last 21 games:
18 tackles and 5 sacks. BK could trip and fall on as many rb’s to equal Uches numbers. 1 good year in 5. I’m surprised we got a 6th for him. He’s worthless.
In 2023 he was tied at 146 for total sacks. 145 players had more.
2024 he sits at 76.
Tackles in 2023 he’s ranked at 646th with his whopping 8 tackles
In 2024 he’s ranked 351.
Like I said. WORTHLESS.

I think with the Chiefs he is coming in as a nice rotational piece that can be used in certain circumstances that fit his game better. With the Patriots he was being asked to be more than he is and it wasn't working out. So wouldn't surprise me to see him go to the Chiefs and make a nice impact. I don't see him ever being a true full-time starter with them though as like you said there are some major concerns about parts of his game.

No, he was being asked to do what he did when he got 11.5 sacks. His big problem is that he didn't have Matt Judon on the other side getting double teamed. The guy has a ton of talent but needs a little less attention than he's been getting. He'll have a top 5 defense to surround him and he excel just like he did with Judon.
