I'd love to get Jon back. At the very least it would allow Payne and Newton to stay fresh during the game.

I am really down on Jon Allen. He has had one really good season, for the last 2 years he has given them nothing. I don't think it's a coincidence that the defense improved once he went down. But with that said he clearly can be a good player and they can use the depth.

I know some are down on him. Rightly so. You have two #1 DT's making 20m and you are still getting gashed in the run. Not sure if the cover two shell, trying to protect BSJ, had something to do with that.

Allen is an addition and should be more effective with Lattimore out there. I welcome him back, even if this is his last ride with the Skins.

The problem is more so our scheme. I know Chinn comes down into the box at times and makes plays. When he doesn't, it leave 54 in the middle by himself. If he gets blocked or unintentionally removes himself from the play, we get gashed. Your asking your 2 DT to do a lot in this scheme.

Seems to me Chinn has played well close to the LOS.
