they had great set pieces, but one of those early fight scenes was so hard to watch, everything about it was stiff and forced (maybe bad editing, just looked horrible), not to mention the dumb direction the story went (not that it was ever the strongest, but still), great use of colors, mediocre fight scenes, terrible story.

Good movie although the weakest of the three if only because Reeves was a bit outclassed in the martial arts department and the plot managed to be entirely padding.

The first act is pretty great, though

rented it, I really liked the first 2, this one was meh...most of the fight scenes were too unbelievable. the fight in the Continental in the middle of NY didn't draw any police attention.... too unbelievable...

If you made it that far then you already saw the best parts.

The fundamental issue I have with the movie is that they do an excellent job of beating up John Wick at the start of the movie but they do a really terrible job of making you believe that he has any juice left to take on all comers. They needed a prime Jackie Chan or Jet Li for these action scenes and instead they got a fairly stiff 50+year old actor and it showed.

Id be okay with the 'twists' in the plot if it was an excuse for great action scenes but it looked like a Reeves vanity project.
