This "mostly the same when healthy" defense gave up 27+ PPG against teams above .500 in 2012. Just food for thought, I don't think it reflects as poorly as this might suggest on defense when you look at the overall statistics objectively. Their coverage really has been offensive in the admittedly brief timeframes I have watched the Broncos this year, but it would be ill-advised for me to say Denver simply has a poor defense based on what I have seen so far ( atleast if they are healthy). RG3 missed, or simply did not see altogether, wide open receivers. Even NFC playbook jumped on RG3 about it because it was so obvious.
