Jersey number raised in the wrong building

The way I see it for Francis is that the franchise moved so his retired jersey is raised in Carolina.
Unless I am mistaken the Hurricanes did make it to the cup final when Francis was playing there, so there was at least some playoff success.

I got no problem with the Canes retiring Francis number ... Im actually glad they acknowledge their history ... There was a reason he was nicknamed "Ronnie Franchise" and Canes fans should know it
