The problem is there is no proof he is distributing. Baggies and scales don't mean he is. It's circumstantial. Plus he didn't sign for it and he let the cops search his home. IF he is involved and knows what's going on he will testify against someone and get a plea for probably 0 time. He might get like 30 days just so it looks like they did something to him. If a man can drive drunk and kill someone and only get 30 days of jail then Simpson can get 30 days or less for this too.

The 10 lbs in his home is proof. I would think (again I'm not an expert) possessing that amount of drugs is treated as proof that he's distributing. also since the package crossed state lines it's federal jurisdiction...

now maybe it belonged to someone else and it was just being stored at his home? that's his only way out

He didn't sign for it and he let the cops search his house. If you knew that kind of drugs were in your home would you just let the cops search it?and 10 lbs isn't actually proof of distribution. They need actual proof, someone seeing him sell, or buying from him.

I don't think they need to actually see him selling to prove distribution. They arrest people and charge them with distributing all the time. Large quantities are usually enough proof on their own.

I know Stallworth killed a man. I know Simpson didn't sign AND let the cops search the house. He isn't going to jail.

Yup. It's called possession with the INTENT of distribution.

He's going to prison if actually guilty. Drugs are worse than vehicular manslaughter. It aint right, but that's how it is.

And you call me argumentative?

First - several times - it was he isn't going to jail more than 1 month. Since Kramer won't let up, you dropped it to not going to jail at all.

I think the thing is, a little money only just gives these guys a taste for what big money must be like.

then they want to be like Tony Montana, instead of just Joe Montana.
