It's a positive story from someone who hasn't been in trouble in awhile and is doing something in his spare time that is more productive then anything he previously did. Low blow. Maybe I'm just an .

^^^This. I agree with every word of this. Regardless as to whether he latched on to this team, I just am interested in seeing a young man overcome his own doings and become a better person. Sounds hokey but I don't really see why I WOULDN'T want to root for that.

It is funny, but I agree with you. I have difficulty giving second chances to rapists, child molestors, and murderers. But have no problem sseing this guy get a second chance. I hope he has matured, straightened out his act, and is willing to make the most of his talent. At age 28, he still is in his prime.

His legal mishaps fall more into the "dumb" category than the "malicious" one. Not to understate the significance of drug trafficking, but this isn't serious criminal activity. I have a lot of friends who could have been arrested of similar conduct. Let's hope he keeps his nose clean and can produce for us. It's early, but looking like he has a very legit shot of making the roster.
