Hell, now if we can get a defensive coordinator that knows what the hell he is doing, we may have a shot!

Pretty much a no-brainer, in my opinion. Couldn't imagine that Fisher would switch back to Hill. Hope the youngster plays well in Philly.

Nothing is a no-brainer with this franchise TDs. I think the last decade of futility proves that. Now on the other hand there are plenty of "numb brainer" decisions that have been made....enough from every coaching/FO regime since TGSOT days to provide plenty of fodder for us fans to grow quite cynical......

I think we have our defensive coordinator TEB.

I've already said I'm not a Greg Williams fan.

That said he will fit.

I think it will take more time though. There's a lot of things to remember and a lot of things to forget before they act on first thought.

So far, Fisher's 'Defense by Committee' was much better...

After his performance against the Cowboys, there was really no logical reason to go back to Hill. I'm willing to bet that Fisher was (rightfully) conflicted after the Bucs game... the Dallas game sealed the deal.

There's no going back, now. The rest is up to Davis. Here's hoping he keeps up the play that put him in the driver's seat!

My God... could I actually be "excited" for Rams football again? Lol.

We still need an OC. And all this really means is he is the starter until further notice. If he has two bad games in a row I wouldn't be surprised to see Hill.

With that being said, I want to see a CARRER day for Davis on Sunday! We CAN beat Philly!

Fisher actually went a bit further than that and said that Davis is the team’s starter moving forward.

Good move by Fisher and I am fairly certain we will all be pleased with Davis going forward. He reminds me of Vince Ferragamo.

So some of you may not have like the cards Jeff Fisher played as we went a long but I like the fact that he didn't show his full hand until now...

The Eagles, who haven't won four of their first five since 2006, face a St.
Louis team that ranks ninth in total offense (368.3 yards per game) and ninth in
passing (264.3) despite playing with third-string quarterback Austin Davis.

Coach Jeff Fisher named Davis the starter for the rest of the season earlier
this week, even though he previously said that Shaun Hill would start when he returned from a quad
injury.

"My job is to make the right decisions and I felt that I was going to go this
way pretty much after the Tampa Bay game based on what I saw, and then the
Dallas game was just what really convinced us as a staff and myself," Fisher
said. "And he deserves it. He deserves an opportunity."

The 25-year-old Davis completed 30 of 42 passes for a career-high 327 yards
with three touchdowns and two interceptions in a 34-31 home loss to Dallas on
Sept. 21. However, he could be missing a key target in the passing game with Tavon
Austin
still nursing a knee injury that sidelined him against the
Cowboys.

yall beat me to it. go rams!

Not much good has happened to this team as of late, could this be the beginning of a new era at QB? Dam, lets hope so. ALso hope he can stay healthy and maybe make it through the whole season and surprise. This fanbase needs a spark! GO Austin Davis!

Been biting my tongue all year, haven't posted on here since last may! I've been wanting Davis to start since last year!
I know there are a few others that wanted to see him last year also, Clemens did ok last year, but we were in the same situation last year as we were this year with Hill. We should have started him last year and we would already know if he was or is the answer. Hopefully he plays the rest of this year and does well so we don't have to waste a high pick on a QB, although we still need to pick when later on in the draft.

I never liked the hiring of Fisher either, it seems the game has passed him by. I didnt think Tennessee was ever really that good, they had a good defense and Eddie (3 yards a carry) George.

Of course everyone here knows I never ever liked the Bradford pick, glad to see things may be going in a new direction!

I agree with everyone on our lack of quality drafting so called expertise! How can you draft 11 guys and not one of them starts let alone even plays that much?

I do like our young WR, and think they will only continue to get better. Very disappointed in our so called "defense" so far. They are really good for 80% of the plays, it's the 20% that they aren't playing well that is killing us, along with the penalties of course, although I have to admit, there have been an awful lot of phantom penalties and some pretty borderline questionable penalties, but they just seem to ALWAYS go against us.

Retro, I'm in here quite often, just haven't been posting very much since I can't rip on Bradford, I kid with you, yes?

It's mainly because this team is just so damn irritating, and I'm in perfect health right now, but I don't want to chance getting high blood pressure, migraines, pulling my hair out, whoops you have to have some to be able to do that!

Could have beaten Minnesota, that game was not indicative of the score, should have lost to Tampa Bay, should have beaten Dallas, I just don't even know what to think about this team anymore!

Yep, it is cponfusing at this juncture but I think we may have solved the QB situation for this year with Davis. The defense is another matter entirely. They definitely miss C. Long's influence.
