The fact that he is 5th in the Power Rankings shows what an uphill battle he has to garnish enough votes. That is the worst part about the new system that awards extra draft picks to award winners in certain categories. The media cannot be trusted to be unbiased.

I think if a player is on the Opening Day roster and then wins ROY, the team gets a bonus draft pick.

I would imagine that the Rangers will go with 4 starting pitchers until a week from now. I guess if Bradford gets replaced in his scheduled start tonight that would tell us something, but I doubt that happens.

I guess it could come down to if they need Dunning this coming weekend out of the bullpen.
