Disagree (& I was a Cousins doubter for a very long time until recently). Also - regardless of how we feel they are going into next season with Cousins as the starter with a new contract. If they can again establish a consistent running game they should be more than fine (probably next season - not now). They showed a stat yesterday where basically Cousins is the most effective QB in the NFL off play action. The problem is that if you have no running game that is very tough.
Everyone should have realized that this season would be a rebuilding one which unfortunately includes a lot of the crappy stuff we are seeing rt now.
That's why we have opinions to share here. I disagree about Cousins and the stat shared last night concerning play action is a bit misleading simply because he has no pressure in his face on those plays. Same could be said for a lot of QB's in the league. Kind of hard to establish a running game with Pork Chop getting doubled over back wards at Center weekly and Long who really can't figure much of anything out like the screen play last night where he missed his pivotal block on.
I never post here during games because I think most here are a bit to emotional during or right after games and silly comments are made. Cousins clearly has not made the strides we had all hoped for and I look to one person for those inconsistencies as I do for last nights loss. (HC) I'm disheartened we lost last night but almost glad now that we did because again, a lot was exposed last night and clearly shows how far we have to go in order to be much more competitive.
