Adam Schefter tweeted that Hue is now the Bengals OC

Now we'll see how attached to Dalton the team really is.

I've texted with Bengals players who say the team will miss Gruden dearly. Other Bengals say the offense will be better without him.

In Oakland his entire offense was based on deep outs.

Jackson's going to have to tailor a new offense to fit Dalton's strengths. I'm not against keeping Gruden's playbook

I haven't felt this good about the team since Brat got fired and Carson got traded.

Hue will be a great OC. But we cannot bust his balls too much too early. He has to get Andy into shape or get rid of his ass.

Hue will hold Andy accountable. He doesn't take BS excuses.

Also, they will run more. A lot more. That will help Andy tremendously. Dalton was 8th in the NFL in passing attempts.

WHY?!

There is NO REASON for him to have been in the top 10. None.

With Dalton and Palmer being more of classic pocket passers vs. runnning/scrambling type QB during Gruden's tenure, you have to wonder if the Redskins are going to possibly use RG3 as trade bait and go with Cousins at QB.

How does Jim Haslett keep his job at DC? The Redskin defense was embarrassing to say the least

As I said before, I think Jay did a good job here. But in no way is he irreplaceable. If Hue Jackson is promoted to OC I think the offense will be fine. I wish Jay well, but he'll never have the autonomy a coach needs in the middle of Snyder and RGIII. It will be tough for him to be successful there imo.

That is why I think this coaching opportunity is a win-win for him. If he can win there, he's set. If he loses there, he'll point to Dan and his lack of control, and the issues of Dan always meddling with the team.

He doesn't have much to lose.

A lot of people have been saying that they feel his style of coaching is more suited for a HC than a OC. We'll see.
