WFT prez says name could stick, cites fan input

Team president Jason Wright told ESPN on Tuesday that fans have warmed to the placeholder Washington Football Team name and that strong consideration will be given to making it permanent.

The more I hear from Jason Wright, the more impressed I am with him.

To me, he says all the right things in this article:
needs to listen to all constituencies, wants to move quickly but cant always do so, engages on social media, listens to fan radio, rebranding of band and cheerleaders - even the fact that he was a musical theater major and dancer is a plus to me (speaks to him being very well rounded).

I like this dude, and I like the direction the franchise is taking.

IMO this is 100% Dan. I just haven't seen anyone that likes WFT. It is stupid, the uniform is ugly. My guess is Dan thinks it is smart and he is putting his stamp on it and much as I was afraid Wright is just one more puppet in the long line of puppets.

Dan in his ever successful business man days had no alternative plan. He also has no balls. It is amazing to me that he was successful in any business because he has sucked in so many others. I do not have high hopes for a good decision here.

Absolutely Yes, if I drank that shit regularly before the change, it's the same product, the name is the only change and as time continues to prove, change isn't for current consumers, but future ones. Did you know that there's a generation of people newly aware of the game who ONLY know this team as the WFT?
