He's a capable backup, which is more than we have been able to say since Kitna signed with Detroit.....

guys, I think this is a safety valve

look at Dalton's contract:

7/29/2011: Signed a four-year, $5.214 million contract. The deal included a $2.292 million signing bonus. 2014: $986,027 (+ $100,000 reporting bonus), 2015: Free Agent

so 7/29/2015 Dalton is a free man

he would make more money on another team, having been to the playoffs 3 years in a row, I can't see the Bengals giving him top dollar. so the plan must be to roll the dice in the next year or two with a rookie QB and let Campbell be the band-aid through the process. unless of course Dalton succeeds in improving.

Look at it this way if you have a choice between Johnson and Campbell who do you choose?? Campbell can come in and complete passes lead a team in the event Cayenne Peppa(LMFAO) has 2 or 3 three pick games in a row.. Hue wants to be able to pull his ass if he starts that shit! Campbell has NEVER had these weapons so this will be the 1st time he will have a decent oline decent back 2 decent TE's and good WR's.....Let Andy fuck up and Campbell comes in Andy may be sitting the rest of the season! I wanted Vick but Campbell will do....

SO, you guys almost sound like you want Dalton to fail, so that we can bring in Jason Campbell to do what?
Lead the team in 2015 when he will be like 35? I think he is a good pick up for a backup, but if we're counting on him to replace Dalton and save some money in the future plus win playoff games along the way, we're in BIG trouble.
If he's a back up in the event that Dalton gets hurt or needs to be rested a game before the playoffs start, he looks like a good solid player.

Campbell is never starting, unless Dalton gets hurt.

Dont be so sure about that.....Hue will send a message and pull his ass...LOL watch!

Hue doesn't have that kind of authority. If you think he does you're high.
