You're hearing more than what Kelly said in his presser. He said 3d degree MCL tear. Requiring surgery. He said out for year but he'll be back next year. It must be bad. Surgery, especially season ending surgery is rare for an MCL tear. They are saying its more then just an ACL. He might be done with football. Man I feel for this kid. I hope he comes back.
I Posted before his presser. Rumors flying around that he tore up his knee big time. happy its only a MCL. They aren't that to come back from I had one. also had 2 ACL's.You're hearing more than what Kelly said in his presser. He said 3d degree MCL tear. Requiring surgery. Kelly said it was a pretty routine incident, player just got rolled up in his leg and he torqued it too far. MCL is better than ACL, but that is why I was concerned that it requried surgery, because typically surgery can be avoided with an MCL tear. My bigger concern is that will he be conditioned when he comes back. He'll now have basically two seasons where he cannot effectively lift weights for strength conditioning. As it is, it was going to be a question mark how well conditioned he would be this year. Now he's gotta start over. I hope he can and does come back, we'll certianly need the depth, just feel bad for the guy.I Posted before his presser. Rumors flying around that he tore up his knee big time. happy its only a MCL.
