Pay him more than any other safety or no?
It is absolutely ridiculous that someone can be upset because they're only getting 6.9 million dollars. I mean, do they actually fucking listen to themselves when that exhaust comes out of their mouths? Jairus Byrd, I hope you get a Lisfranc tear and your career ends this year. You are pathetic and so are the many players that do the same thing. And don't give me the injury risk bullshit, it's football, and you know that going in, and if 6.9 million dollars is the last check you get in your life, I think you'll still be able to eat.
Absolutely pathetic.
It's all relative. If you are the best worker at your company, but live comfortably at your current wage, are you not still upset if lesser employees in your department make substantially more than you? Byrd is a pro-bowl safety, and aiming low is not how free agency deals should start from the players' side.
The Bills have been notorious for making terrible salary decisions. Let quality guys go at OL, LB, DB only to overspend on freaking Fitzpatrick and Kelsay. Until they better learn to keep the quality players they develop, they will never be a winning team.
and like Manny Lawson, Mark Anderson, Spencer Johnson, TO, the LB we signed from the Giants...... I could go on for a while....
And management wonders why we have had one winning season last 15 years or so. When your signing Spencer Johnson and drafting Aaron Maybin It makes it hard to win.
