I'm sorry, but I think that's ridiculous. Cutler is one of the most underrated QBs in the league; he's just screwed from the get go because of his craptastic OL. Put him in an offense like the Falcons, Cowboys or 49ers and his numbers would be close to the top of the ranks.

If he's smart he'll sign elsewhere next offseason because the Bears have been ran terribly & aren't showing signs of getting much better in the management department.

The Cowboys have a terrible O-Line. I don't think Cutler is all that much better, if at all, than Romo.

The Cowboys' OL isn't good, but it's nowhere near as bad as the Bears' OL. And the Cowboys just drafted that center from Wisconsin; that was the weakest starting position on the team.

He's down to 265, so he has a chance...if he can quit the syrup.

This will probably never happen, but I think Denver would be a really good spot for Russell. No guarantees that sitting behind Manning for 1-2 years turns him into an NFL starter, but it certainly couldn't hurt to learn from one of the best. Besides, if he somehow turns it around they could stick it to the Raiders.

Not sure Elway would do this though, doesn't seem to have much patience with busts... considering how he dealt with Tebow.

Tebow was costing them far too much to sit on the bench, and you don't pass up Peyton. I don't think being a bust played a large role in that.

Yeah, that makes sense. He did have a pretty big contract and a whole lot of circus. With Manning's enormous deal it was just impossible to keep Tebow. I do kind of feel like Elway didn't see Tebow as a QB no matter what the cost, his standards seem kind of high... HOF or bust.

I have made my opinions on Tebow clear, and moving on may not have been a bad decision without Peyton in the picture, but Peyton was the accelerator there. They could have given him another shot, but once he wasn't going to start, and was due all that money without showing a lot of long term potential, their hands were tied.

Getting the boot in Denver wasn't tebow's fault. I kind of wish he hadn't because I don't think he'd have the same hype with another year starting there.
