49ers announced they have waived RB Brandon Jacobs. per Adam Shefter
Wonder why they did it...do they think it's too late for him to get picked up by a team? Would still hate to see him go to GB and hurt us.
I think this has to qualify as one of the most peculiar "sign-bench-and-release" moves by our FO in a long, long time. This whole reality with Jacobs was just weird. Perhaps the twitter universe will now shed some light as to what this was all about.
Ask Braylon Edwards what happens when you get in Harbaugh's doghouse. It's like the Hotel California; you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave..."
i'm just worried if this will affect us going forward with free agents. two years in a row we bring in someone and then they get canned.
Right now we are running a SB caliber perform to play organization - the FA's that have performed for our coaching staff have played and contributed - those that haven't were shipped out. If that affects some FA's decision to want to play for us - Great! Preemptive attrition is fine with me!

Or am I just over-thinking?
I was there too; also at the 1975 DoG that the Eagles co-headlined with the Doobies.

What the heck has gotten into you? Was it SC's pathetic performance in the Sun Bowl?

Haha! My first DOG was The Doobie Brothers & Fleetwood Mac just prior to the Eagles - Man those were some life defining good times!
