I was just thinking about this being a possibility this morning. He was allegedly talking up the Broncos to Watson. Guess we’ll see.

Kareem Jackson's option was unceremoniously declined on Tuesday but according to George Paton, there's still a chance he could return to the Broncos.

It was one of those mutual situations where Jackson thought he could get more on the market than what the Broncos were offering. If he doesn't then plan is for him to come back and talk with Broncos about a new deal.

Yup- I would say very possible. Just needs to see what other money is being offered to him first.

I am indifferent on Parks returning. He hasn't played all that well the past two years. Neither has he played poorly but it really depends on A. Who our other starting safety and B. If we draft a young guy to take over at the other starting safety spot. We will see how Parks fits in. I wouldn't be in a rush to bring him back, but I would take him back for depth in other words if our plan isn't really to draft a young S early. Parks is a guy I feel has declined a bit too early in his career but still belongs in the NFL if that makes sense. He at one point could have fooled me into thinking he was starter worthy in which now I am sold on the fact that he hits his peak and is simply a backup. He really did not play well the year before he hit free agency for us. Came back last year and was ok. Did not play well for the Eagles prior to signing back with us.

I think he played pretty well at the return to the Broncos last season, but what he adds is the intangible of being a very popular teammate. I agree - when you have veteran status it becomes a proposition related to how much does it cost to employ you vs. what do you get.

He would be an after the draft kind of signing for me. If the Broncos don't get the guys they like in the draft then always have him as that fall back plan. We'll see if he lasts that long in FA but seems like here in the next few days things will calm down signing wise until after the draft.
