I thought Henrik went 4th, and Daniel 7th.
if not, i may cave cussed out the wrong robot.

I still get them mixed up :L

Yeah, we really ought to tag one of them one of these days. Maybe get Daniel a snazzy ear stud. :D

A guy had a great sign in Chicago earlier this season:

"Hey Daniel, your brother's ugly"

5 of the 10 games tonight ended 2-1. 3 in a shootout and 1 in OT.

didn't hear anything about it being broken.
either your vid was a missed call, or Rome's was.
I'm guessing the former. (and Rome's was just chintzy)

its almost like the ref was waiting to make that call. I guess he was really watching lol. oh well didnt hurt us.

few things

What a fucking shot by Upshall. wow freaking laser.

Lou was spectacular. Saved us in this game even in the shootout.
Canucks finally get to steal a game they had no business getting a point in. Upshall should have had 4 or 5 goals.

Time to see if we can hurt Nashvilles chances :)

kind of odd that Ballard only had 16:38 ice time.
Ehrhoff was up at 28m, Hammer and Salo up above 25m, and even Rome was at 19:43.

is he healthy? He still managed to block 5 shots (next nearest guy was at 2)

in other ice time news, Lapierre was under 6m, was 33% on face-offs, took a penalty and failed to clear the puck on CBJ's goal.
a bit of a shaky start...

seems to me that AV is kinda coaching scared lately ... when they were rolling there was more balanced ice time ... at the very least he was rolling 4 lines without fear. I think the last thing right now is to put added pressure on the big guys on d to have the team work through things. By letting guys sit on the bench for extended periods of time (im talking 4th liners now), he's just letting them know he has no trust in them. How does he expect them to just flip the switch and provide some spark for the team with 5 or 6 shifts.

I dont understand what he is up to playing Kesler over 22 mins per game (7th straight game last night). Does he want him to get injured before the playoffs?

when asked yesterday if he's going to give more minutes to 4th liners now he told reporters that they shouldnt expect any change in ice times

This is easily the most brutal Vancouver has looked in some time now. Making Columbus look like the Red Wings isn't easy to do.

Yeah a team that has only lost once in regulation in the last 10 and has the second most come from behind wins in the league are a bunch of useless scrubs and need extraordinary help to look halfway decent.

But you're a Leafs fan, I wouldn't expect you to know hockey when you see it.

with that sparkling performance in the shootout, Luongo has improved his shoot-out save percentage to 0.538 :L

simply amazing, as he is nigh-on unbeatable on penalty shots.
(something like 20 of 22, though I can't find the stat right now)
