There's a bunch I think could rival them, 86 Mets, 09 Yankees, I'd argue the 2 Marlins World Series Teams, possibly the 96 Orioles as well as some of those Braves teams. There have been some monster lineups from teams.

Non-Homer
Jeff Blauser SS
Chipper Jones 3B
David Justice RF
Fred McGriff 1B
Ryan Klesko LF
Javy Lopez C
Marquis Grissom CF
Mark Lemke 2B

and then: Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, and Mark Wohlers

The Braves line-up was really good, their pitching staff just put them over the top

The Rangers lineup this year is not a homer pick though, its very solid

I can't say anything bc they beat the Indians, but like you said it was mostly their insane pitching. That rotation one of best ever!

I remember in a post game interview after game 6 of the '95 WS, After the first inning Tom Glavine told the team to get him one run because that bunch aint scorin' tonight. Glavine went on to shut them out

I thought someone would mention the roided up 2003 Red Sox. Every starter had double digit HR and only Damon did not get 80 RBI... A lot of offensive team records fell that year...

Damon - 12 HR - 67 RBI
Walker - 13 HR - 85 RBI
Garciaparra - 28 HR - 105 RBI
Ramirez - 37 HR - 104 RBI
Ortiz - 34 HR - 101 RBI
Millar - 25 HR - 96 RBI
Mueller - 19 Hr - 85 RBI
Nixon - 28 HR - 87 RBI
Varitek - 25 HR - 85 RBI

(Sigh).... f'n Wakefield...

It seems almost comical to me that it took so long to get the late 20's, early 30's Yankees mentioned. For at least 40 years, they were pretty much considered the best team/teams ever, with the 1927 team, a.k.a Murders Row, being the one mentioned the most. I actually like this 1931 team better, so well done.

Also being worthy of consideration, IMO, were the Orioles from 1969-1972. They hit, caught, hit for power, and had loads of pitching on those squads.

Thanks The Yankees had a pretty incredible lineup in 36, 37, and 39 also.
