Ill get you that Dash if you get me this
Glenlivet 70 Year Old 1940 - Generations (Gordon and MacPhail) Whisky - Master of Malt
Did you read some of the comments matty? Goes great with Coke-Cola?!? Who are these heathens?
Just like nothing sets off the flavor of a well aged steak like ketchup, nothing sets off the flavor of an exquisite scotch like coca-cola
Xmas Day I share with my family and my best friend. My Best Friend shot it back like a shot of Jack Daniels my Brother poured his Coke into it. I fucking stood there in disbelief, I just stood there. I didnt know what to say. I bought a bottle of cheap shit for those 2 fucking guys when they come over. when I bring out the good stuff they look at me and I say FUCK NO YOU TWATS. NOT FOR YOU
I'm a fan of the Canadian blended whiskeys. I just bought a bottle of 12+ (bottled in 1999) year old Snake River Whiskey. Haven't had any of it yet, but I hope it's good. The grocery store down the street from me stopped selling Pendleton's, which was a good, not too expensive whiskey. Any of you ever had the Snake River brand? I got it for $29.
Never have had Snake River, might have to give it a try. With my dad's recent health scare, he has to give up his favourite scotch.
I was thinking of buying a bottle of Gibson's Finest (100th Grey Cup special edition) mainly for the cool looking label.
Does it taste any different from gibsons finest non grey cup edition as I made the mistake of having some after a highland park it was like turpentine
my dad keeps his good scotch hidden away, just on the off chance that when the bar cabinet is open, one of his heathen friends sees something and says "yeah, I'll try some of that".
he picked up a bottle of Sheep Dip as a gag last time he was in Texas, that's what a few of them get, and they don't mind one bit.
as a side note, do not buy "Sheep Dip", and if you do.... don't mix it with brand-name cola. It's a waste of the mix.
Odd, with a name like Sheep Dip I'd figure it would be top notch stuff.
