I think exhibit A is the fact that the Jets...The NEW YORK JETS... scored over 35 points last night.

True, but the Jets are supposed to have a wicked good defense and yet they are getting a pass on giving up 31 to Buffalo's offense.

Yeah, neither team did all that well on defense...shattered the over early in the 3rd

Well I wouldn't put the fumble return TD on the Jets defense there.

They were inconsistent but overall not bad. Gave up a couple huge plays, but outside of that did well. Played strong on 3rd down, did well against the run, got some good pressure and hits on Taylor. I thought they defended McCoy and Watkins well overall. Forced 2 turnovers (4th down one and INT).

Yes you definitely need to work on not giving up the big plays over the top. Those two plays is what changed a dominant defensive outing into a meh one.

Well, I believe one TD was scored by the Buffalo D?

And the other in a total prevent defense?

Everybody miss this??

Hey, you fuckin' with my narrative? Because i don't care for people fuckin' with my narrative...

The bottom line is both these 'tards is fat, arrogant, and shitty coaches, pretty much like their daddy.

And living in Western New York has not done Rex's waistline any favors. He needs to dial it back w/ the beef on a weck

FootballOutsiders had Buffalo ranked 24th on D last year on they are down like 3? starters.

Jesus couldn't save that defense. Though like Ryan, Jesus has good hair so it all works out.

Buffalo looks like a classic 4-12 injury riddled type of team.

edit - D worse than I thought

Funny you say that. Rex had his lap band removed to support his fat brother, because Rob had some sort of reaction to the lap band.

I do agree with the Ryan's not living up to daddy, but didn't feel Rob deserved the blame here.

Oh, and fuck your narrative.

The biggest thing is how inconsistent both teams looked. The jets front seven looked solid but their DBs were very shaky. onn the other side you have Taylor looking good for a bit and then all over the place.

Calling Buffalo's D "great" is a major stretch.

2013 - 10th in yds; 20th in PPG
2014 - 4th in yds; 4th in PPG
2015 - 19th in yds; 15th in PPG

Meanwhile, during that same timeframe, Seattle's D:
2013 - #1; #1
2014 - #1; #1
2015 - #2; #1

Now THAT's great.

Throws well to his wideouts. Kinda like Eli in that way.

Not great but you give him all those weapons and he'll be ok. Still really inconsistent though. He'll play like last night one week then throw three picks the next and miss open guys.
He sounds like a poor man's Brett Favre.

More placement than power at throwing to them though. He's got an NFL arm, but think more of how a guy like Brees can get the ball to his wideouts (not saying Fitz is anything like on Brees' level, just that he can throw down the field to his WR's without absolutely burning it between double coverage)

Yeah, but they were very very good.

Figure when Rex took over, Doug Marrone the year before had that defense 1st in points allowed per posession (Seattle's offense controlled the ball better, less posessions for the D, but on average if the offense was given the ball, Buffalo would let them score less).

Last year they were 14th...
