I'm making the Atlanta Thrashers my number 2 team in the NHL. After half of the hawks got traded there I thought about doing it, but this morning it finally hit me that my AHL the Chicago Wolves are the Thrashers minor league affiliate.

Having a 2nd team isnt so bad, if they lose I don't really give a shit. If they win im slightly happier

I totally believe its lame to follow two teams in the same conference, but like I said before, many people around here (CT.) look at me like I have two heads, I grew up in a equally split family of Whalers/Rangers/B's fans, so I really followed them all, and just chose the Rangers as a fav. But if it ever comes down to them being mathematically out, I will root for the B's.

Yeah, I'm not going to bash people with 2 or more teams. I'm thinking of my uncle who's been to several colleges, and while only 1 is his one true team, he still follows all of his old teams a little. That's legit, IMO.

The only way I'll ever be truly happy is if the Shark win the Stanley Cup..... (I'll pause for a second until the laughter dies down ).

Other than that though, I do root for players I like on other teams or against players I don't like.
