Doesn't matter if it's against the rules or not if the refs can't call it right.

Also, while we are talking stupid rules, how about that trapezoid? Although with Bryzgalov's recent adventures, I should probably be arguing for as little allowed goaltender handling of the puck as possible.

I have no issue with it being a penalty since, to forty's point, it's now consistent between forwards and goaltenders.

On the flip side, I would have no issue with it not being a penalty, as long as it stays consistent.

However, given that this is a pure yes/no situation, unlike most penalties which require some judgment, I think absolutely that they should review it before assessing a penalty.
