It looks like the Islanders are saving most of their opening night roster for tomorrow nights game in Bridgeport against the Bruins. It's too bad Ricky has a huge contract. I actually think Poulin is better already.

I hate preseason hockey. Nino has a groin injury. Apparently it's just a strain & he will be day to day. He'll be checked out tomorrow. Strome apparently delivered an illegal hit that Shanny will take a look at. I don't know how that's going to work with a player who isn't signed & will be spending the season in Niagara of the OHL. I imagine it will just carry over to next season when he makes the team.
