The Chiefs gave up WAY more for Cassel.

2nd round pick and then gave him a 28m guaranteed deal worth 63m over 6 year that paid out $40m over the first 3 seasons. Inflate that contract to today's NFL dollars and it is bigger than osweiler's by quite a bit.

It's worse than Flynn or Matt since BO never looked that great with Denver, was paid more than both and is struggling not due to injury just due to being terrible. Flynn was used up goods after having shoulder issues when he got to Seattle.

He's worse than Matt Cassel. Cassel won the AFC West, went 11-5 in the process of making a pro bowl. With 27 TD's to 7 INT's. I suppose Osweiler is in a bad division and could still win the AFC south... but he's playing MUCH worse than Cassel did.

Well, the next two QB's who will be shipped off at a high price and get an opportunity will be Garrapolo and McCarron.

Cutler will probably finish his career hopping around to a couple of teams. Possibly Romo too if Dallas sticks with Dak.

Texans GM should be fired. Should have been fired when the signing was announce. One of the dumbest moves a team could make. What makes it worse is they signed Osweiller without even having him come in for a visit or a workout. He only had a handful of starts on a team that had the one of the best if not the best defense in the NFL. He come out of nowhere and the Texans are the next stupid team to sign a QB after a few good games in the NFL.

Sad thing is that he is stuck with the Texans at least through next year. No team is going to be stupid enough to trade for him, the cap hit would be too high. His salary for next year is $16 mil and it is fully guaranteed.
