asche who is hitting over .300 since his 1 for 17 start, pulled up lame in the 7th inning with a hamstring injury. The only move that makes sense right now would be to call up franco. But knowing amaro he'll probably play career minor league player pete orr at 1B and move veteran michael young back to 3B. i have this crappy feeling that he wants to resign young for another year.

And that is the other major glaring problem with these dopes. Injuries have got to be at an all-time high. Everytime we get a player beginning to hit stride, they come up lame. It must be in the clubhouse water. WTH!!!
