Also, has to do with, I think, Wickline and leaving OSU; if he calls plays and is an OC, he doesn't have to pay some money to OSU or something like that.

Texas has 2 DCs also. Most schools have at least 2 coaches that run one side of the ball. Silly to think that HC like Stoops or Saban never get involved in the defense. It is a bit odd that 1 is not the HC though. I do think Watson will call the majority of plays, but Wickline will certainly have some influence and make a few calls through a game.

I just don't see how that will happen logistically; yes, they will work together and W. will have his plays, just think one person will be calling them. Otherwise, you'll get conflicts and delay of game penalties. But I could be wrong, guess we'll find out.
