Is Carolina a Super Bowl contender??

Are the Panthers for real?? That D they have is top notch so they SHOULD be able to compete with just about anyone in the NFC come playoff time. Quite a turn around. Nice to see them finally back to playing solid ball.

This is the time of the season when the teams that get hot, go deep into the playoffs. Panthers could be one of those teams.

They have a great D.
A QB that can be dynamic.
A good running game.

What are they missing, not saying they are gonna win it, but teams that can play dominating Defense have a chance.

The Panthers always seem to play better in the 2nd half of the season. I am going to the MNF game next week, and hope to see them knock off the Pats too. Over the last three games (ATL, SF & NE) I would have been happy with 2-1. It looks like it could be 3-0 with that stretch and then the schedule eases up a little bit sans the two NO games. 11-5 is a real possibility now.

I think the Saints are the team to beat and the Panthers will have a tough time getting a wild card as the 49ers, Packers, Bears are all bunched up. Can they get a wild yes but it will not be easy.

Oh come on. I'm not a huge fan of Cam myself but the league is full of one hit wonders like Doug Williams who have won superbowls. I personally think Cam is a lot better than Williams was.


With that D they are indeed a threat.

Agree with this.

As long as Cammy-Cam keeps making what appear to be rookie-rook mistakey-stakes, the best that can be hoped for is maybe a wildcard win this season to give some playoff experience.

Future looks very bright, though.
