Everyone forgets he was in line for a massive contract. Projected $30-40M/year and that was 3 years ago.

Who knows what happened this year with Baker but I still not believe they were SB contenders. If Watson can become Watson again like we saw glimpses of this year then at least there is some possibility.

Hope the Bucs fuck around and try and get him cheap...I would not mind the Raiders signing him and bringing him in. Depending on who our next coach is of course. I don't want to go through the ups and downs of a young QB. Give me a veteran who has seen adversity and come through it.

We got a vastly improved defense and just need a QB to get the ball to Adams, Meyers, Renfrow (if he is brought back), Mayer, etc.

Mayfield has that Raider swagg...I would not mind him at all after he bounced back this season.

I'm not saying they have no choice to pay him but he made a pretty damn good impression. The QB market sucks so the only alternative is developing a rookie. He is still only 28.
Spotrac has him valued has $27M/year. That seems about right in line with Geno, if they want to they can structure like the Geno contract and have an early out in year one or year two.

I don't know what the future will be for BM, but I know this at the present time.

the Browns lost to the team that they mortgaged their future to get their sexual predator QB Watson. The QB that they ran out of town the season after leading them to their first playoff road win in decades just destroyed last year SB runner up.
